Privacy and cookies

This notice explains what personal data monvetra.com collects, why, how long it is kept and what your rights are. It is written to meet Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect and why

Quote requests

Name, email, phone (optional), country, what describes you (private client, architect…), the piece and quantity, a number you would like, and your message. We use them only to answer your request and prepare a quotation. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a contract (KVKK art. 5(2)(c); GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

Owners of numbered pieces

Name, email and country of each owner, so that we can issue the certificate, keep the piece's passport and handle transfers to a new owner. Legal basis: performance of the sale contract and our legitimate interest in protecting the authenticity of each piece (KVKK art. 5(2)(c) and (f); GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). The public passport never shows an owner's name or email; it shows only how many owners a piece has had and since which month.

Transfer requests

When an owner passes a piece on, we receive the new owner's name, email and country, and confirm by email before recording the change.

Technical data

To stop abuse of the forms we store a one-way, salted fingerprint of the visitor's IP address with each form submission; the address itself is not stored by us. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived security logs.

How long we keep it

Quote requests: two years after our last contact, unless they lead to an order. Owner records: for as long as the piece's passport exists, because the record is what proves the piece is genuine; you can ask us to remove your name, and the passport then keeps only the dates. Invoices and accounting records: as long as tax and commercial law require.

Who processes it for us

Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and its database. Google (Google Workspace) runs our email. These providers may process data outside Türkiye and the EU; transfers abroad are made under article 9 of KVKK and chapter V of the GDPR. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else, and we do not use it for advertising.

Your rights

You may ask whether we process your data, obtain a copy, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing, and learn who it was shared with (KVKK art. 11; GDPR arts. 15–22). Write to atelier@monvetra.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority of Türkiye (KVKK) or to the data protection authority where you live.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It remembers three choices in your own browser's storage: light or dark display, lite mode, and the hidden details you have found. They never leave your device, and you can clear them in your browser settings.
