Verify a piece

The serial number is engraved on the bronze plate under the top and printed on the signed certificate.

What the passport records

  • Each part: the workshop city, the month it was made and the inspection it passed.
  • Materials and where they come from.
  • How many owners the piece has had. Never their names.
  • A seal on the whole record: each entry is linked to the one before, so a changed entry breaks the chain and shows here.
